Who writes and reviews every page
The Biohazard Cleanup Now editorial team writes and reviews every page on biohazardcleanupnow.com. There are no outside authors and no guest posts. The team is named as the author on each page, with the month the page was last reviewed.
How AI text is used and checked
Some paragraphs on town, metro and guide pages are drafted with an AI writing tool from that page's own public figures. Every draft is checked by software before it can appear: a paragraph with a number that is not in the page's own data is rejected, and so is one that breaks the site's wording rules (no claims about licenses, insurance, response times or prices that are not sourced). The checks run again on every build, so if the data changes, an out-of-date paragraph is held back until it is rewritten. The editorial team reads samples of every page type before release.
Local figures
Town and metro pages use the U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey 2019-2023 5-year estimates (households of one person, residents 65 and older living alone, renters, housing age and vacancy) and CDC PLACES 2024 release model-based estimates (social isolation and difficulty living independently). Each page names and links its sources at the bottom. A town page is published only when it has enough local figures that differ from its metro area.
Costs
Cost ranges are typical national figures printed by independent cost guides (Fixr, HomeGuide and Yelp cost guides), read on 12 October 2026 and checked each January. Prices from cleanup companies' own websites are used only to check the ranges, never to set them. A range is not a quote.
State rules
Notes on state rules for biohazard waste and on crime victim compensation come from the state agencies and statutes that set them. Where a rule could not be confirmed from an official source, the page says less rather than guess.
Sensitive subjects
Pages about suicide and death follow published safe messaging guidance: no method or scene detail, the phrase "died by suicide", and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline wherever suicide is mentioned.
How often pages are reviewed
Every page is reviewed at least once a year, cost ranges each January, and state rules whenever an agency changes them. The review date on a page moves only when the page itself changes.
